Worldwide:
Electricity and Magnetism are the important part of the life in many parts of the world. You’re likely to use electricity every day, without even thinking about it. Electricity and Magnetism are involved. How electromagnetism changed our World? Electromagnetism has created a revolution not only in the field of engineering, but also in various other fields like medicine, space, construction etc. Electromagnetism affects our World in million ways. Whatever powered devices we use, from table clocks to microwave ovens, from useful appliances to high-technology materials, and other relevant devices in order to communicate have some of electromagnetic principle involved in their functioning. Thus it is evident that the usage of electromagnetism is wide and everywhere. Everyday more and more equipments take birth in the market due to the development in magnetism and electromagnetic studies.
Few decades ago, only few places on our planet Earth had the facility to enjoy the electricity and electronic devices. But recent developments led to fast track life style and rapid competitive improvement in every field competing with every country. With the introduction of electricity and electrical devices, electronic devices, and communication equipments, it is impossible to reach any part of the World within few hours. Electricity dominates many parts of the World. Life without electricity would be almost unrecognizable to many of use.
National
Electricity and Magnetism conducted a study that helps our country by producing High-Geothermal Energy. According to our research, the Geothermal Education Office and a 1980 article titled “The Philippines Geothermal success story” by Rudolph J. Birsic published in the journal Geothermal Energy note the remarkable geothermal energy of the Philippines. During the World Geothermal Congress 2000 held in Beppu, Oita it was reported that the Philippines is the largest consumer of electricity from geothermal sources and highlighted the potential role of geothermal energy in providing energy needs for developing countries. The production of geothermal energy is the lack of pollution created.
Governments and companies concluded that there was an interest in reducing carbon emissions on a global scale. In addition, geothermal energy does not use fuel to generate electricity. If you are looking for financial viable energy projects, the possibilities for ventures on renewable energy are expansive in the Philippines. They could come from sources that are naturally recurring and may be replenished such as geothermal, water, wind, sunlight, and tide. These sources are tapped through the use of enhanced technologies to generate solar, wind, hrydo, biomas, and tidal power The government promotes ecologically sound renewable energy to get the much-needed boost to reduce local dependence on fossil fuels.
Local
In local Cities, Electricity and Magnetism had helped the society to have light. Especially those barangay’s who doesn’t have electricity. In other local places, for them to conduct a study on how to produce energy, is by using students, scientists all over the country to invent a thing that has connections to electricity and will make electromagnetism more useful. They are going to make competitions in every school and for the students to invent things and widened their knowledge and intellectual perseverance. Another example of this is the Science Investigatory Projects which is one of the most famous projects in education history. Were the students asked to conduct a study and to make incredibly useful products that came from raw materials.
Another example of this is the Oscillo Hump which was invented by Lorenz Rey Pamplona & Alyssa Vintola from Ateneo de Manila University. Which we found very useful not only in their place but also here in Davao City. What if springs, magnets and coils are placed below the hump to produce energy? Since we do have a lot of humps in the streets of Davao, we can use these humps to produce electromagnetic induction. The need for Davao to conduct this investigation is to convince and make our government support this idea.
Because if this idea is supported by our local government in Davao and other business sectors, students and residents who lives in Davao can extend its use to public roads like drive-thrus, toll gates, and residential areas. The humps will power the streetlights. The benefits of this Oscillo Hump is the simplicity of the idea that addresses two concerns which cities often treat separately – road safety and energy efficiency. Not bad, because considering some of the streets in Davao has unlit and has busted traffic lights. It’s only up the City and the Country leaders to support this very useful and unique idea.
