Auto Debit
.25% EFT interest rate reduction, only installment amount for active bill is pulled. Additional withdrawals can be scheduled as well. 1-2 billing cycles to begin or for changes to take effect.
General Forbearance
Temporary Hardship, and in school but does not qualify for deferment. Limit: 1095 days
Student Loan Debt Burden Forbearance
Suspends payments during extended periods of hardship. Monthly installments paid on all eligible federal student loans must be equal to or greater than 20% of the borrowers monthly income to qualify. Include all installments paid to other servicers, and proof of income or payments to other plans required.
Teacher Loan Forgiveness Forbearance
Suspends payments for borrowers for which will pay the loan and interest in full.
Temporary Hardship Forbearance
Limit is 2 month increments, and takes from the General Forbearance bank.
IPAC/Non-Capping Forbearance
A non capping option for borrowers who made a payment to their prior servicer during a transfer. Placed for 60 days from Loan Add date, and covers delinquency for payments in suspense.
RPS Change processing Forbearance
Used to postpone payments while borrower submits paperwork for repayment plans and other options. It will cover current month, and a delinquency forbearance will be placed to cover any prior delinquent months.
Economic Hardship Deferment
Has EHD on outside loans, receiving public assistance, peace corps volunteer, works 30+ hours a week, earns below 150% of state poverty line.
1095 days, 12 month increments. Documentation is required.
Unemployment deferment
Working -29 hours a week, and either unemployment benefit eligible or registered with local agency.
In School deferment
Loans in repayment, title IV school, and at least temporary hardship status. Can be verified through clearinghouse, PEPS, or NSLDS
Parent PLUS Borrower deferment
Used in place of the In school deferment if beneficiary is enrolled in school at least TH
Summer Bridge deferment
Covers summer months between semesters, In School deferment must have been placed during the previous sprig semester, must be currently enrolled at least HT for the upcoming fall semester at an eligible school.
Education Related Deferment
Teaching in a verified teacher shortage area, or enrollment in at least graduate fellowship, rehab training, or internship/residency

REPAYE
(Since Dec. 17, 2015) All Direct student loan borrowers are eligible, and has no partial financial hardship requirement.
PAYE
(Since 2012) Borrowers who take out their first federal loan on or before Sep 30, 2007 and at least one loan after Sep. 30, 2011 are eligible, and have a partial financial hardship
IBR
(Since 2009) All Federal student loan borrowers with a PFH are eligible
ICR
(Since 1994) All direct Loan borrowers. No PFH requirement.
