Beaumont Tower
-Built in 1928, gift from John Beaumont (1882 graduate)-Hallmark of the sacred space, original farm that was purchased in 1855 to house Michigan's ag college. First of its kind in US-Tower Guard: Oldest and most respected student organization on campus. Originally a female honor society that was a service oriented organization to help serve need of visually impaired students at MSU. Membership opened to men on campus.
Top sophomores are chosen to carry on the tradition based on academic excellence and leadership. -Payed on quarter one very hour -Bell ranges from 15lbs to 2.5 tons!
