Written Report on Famous Leaders CORAZON C. AQUINO (January 25, 1933 – August 1, 2009) She is a CHARISMATIC leader because she easily attracts people to follow or join her in her campaigns.
Proof to this is that she led the People Power Revolution to overthrow the Marcos dictatorship. After then, she was elected as the President of the country. She is the 11th President of the Philippines. She became known as the Icon of Democracy as featured in TIME Magazine in 1986 as its “Woman of the Year”. * TRAITS: 1. Trustworthy – The Filipino people trusted her to the highest position in the country.
. Responsible – She managed to balance her public and private life. She attends both to her family and of the country’s needs. 3. Humble – She never bragged about her position and never abused her power. * PRINCIPLES: 1.
She believes in peace, justice and equality. 2. She instilled dignity, personal pride, and self-respect. 3. She believes in democracy. * CONTRIBUTIONS: 1.
Democracy – She restored democracy in the country after the Marcos regime. 2. People Power Revolution – She led the public through a revolution to stop the administration’s abuse of power and greed. 3.Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law - the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law of 1988 (CARL) which aimed for a nation with equitable land ownership and empowered agrarian reform beneficiaries while, at least, improving social lives. 4.
Overthrew dictatorship – Together with his husband, Benigno Aquino, they fought the Marcos administration 5. Yellow insignia - which symbolizes hope and the color of freedom and democracy. Walt Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) Walt Disney is the famous founder of Mickey Mouse, the loveable cartoon character that has permeated almost every country and culture in the world.He is the co-founder of Walt Disney Productions and one of the most influential motion picture producers in the world. He is also the creator of the world famous Disneyland, considered by many to be the best theme park in the world. * TRAITS 1.
Ambitious - He is self-confident and has a strong will to succeed, to see how much he can do and how far he can go. 2. Persistent - Walt wants to keep on going, to do even bigger things 3. He is not a gambler when it comes to attaining his goals 4. He is an excellent strategist - Walt Disney achieves success by formulating a conservative and workable plan and seeing it hrough 5. Walt Disney has a positive, "can-do" attitude and he tackles life's challenges with relish 6.
Competitive - He enjoys competition, but Walt Disney competes mostly with himself, to see how much of his vision and potential he can really achieve. * PRINCIPLES 1. Never stop dreaming Walt Disney was a dreamer. He never stopped trying out new things, creating new cartoons no matter how successful he was. 2. Keep on keeping on As a leader, you need to have a tenacity to keep on going.
Every person will go through tough times, especially when he/she’s chasing after a huge dream or goal. CONTRIBUTIONS Walt Disney created some of the most popular animated characters. In 1955 he opened Disneyland in California, the first big modern theme park, and many attractions for the world’s fair in 1964 world's fair. He died when Disney World in Florida was in its planning stages, but left a legacy including Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai (opening soon). Without him most modern theme parks probably wouldn't exist.
