ies the play by her involvement in each of the three plots. Olivia is loved by Orsino, but she loves Cesario.

Olivia plays a vital role in the plot to gull Malvolio, although she is unaware of it. Olivia also has an active role in the plot to dupe Sir Andrew because he is jealous of her attention towards Cesario. In conlusion Olivia is the one who inifies the play the best.Olivia is involved the the love plot more then any other plot in which she is involved in. Olivia is loved by others, and she is also in love with others.

The Duke Orsino is in love with Olivia. Although he has not really seen or actually talked to her about this subject. Sir Andrew is also in love with Olivia, he has been with Olivia for quite some time before and during the play. Malvolio is thought to be in love for a small period of time. Olivia is madly in love through out the play with Cesario. Olivia says:
"Run after that come peevish messager, The country's man.

He left his ring behind him"
(Act 1, Scene 5, Lines 276-277).
Olivia also explains how she is in love with Cesario by telling him that she loves him in front of him in his face when he is over at Olivia's house.
"I love thee so that, maugre all thy pride"
(Act 3, Scene 1, Line 149).
Cessario also knows that Olivia's in love with him, because he realizes that after Malvolio had given the ring to Cessario apon returning from Olivia's house. This is prooven to us when Cessario is on the stage him self reading a soliloquy, which read:
"She loves me sure; the sunning of her passion invites me in this churlish messenger"
(Act 2, Scene 2, Lines 19-20).
The last person that Olivia's in love with is Sebastian.

This is the person which Olivia is fooled by. By this means is that Cessario is Viola and Sebatian is her brother. Later on when Sebatian and Sir Andrew are ready to fight Olivia comes in and says:
"He shall conceal it Whils you are willing it shall some to note, What time we will our celebration keep According to my birth. What do you say?"
(Act 4, Scene 3, Lines 28-31)
This is why with out Olivia this plot would be impossible to be there. The role that she is playing is very important to this plot of the play.
Olivia is playing a vital role in the plot to gull Malvolio, although she is unaware of it.

With out Olivia this plot would not be possible. This is because a Maria sent a letter to Malvolio which was in Olivia's hand writting. Maria say:
"I will drop in his way some obscure epistles of love"
(Act 2, Scene 3, Line 142).
In this letter it had said many things about the love which Olivia had for Malvolio.

How ever this was not true. The letter had been sent by Maria to Malvolio which was to be orginally from Olivia. This letter was sent using Olivia's hand writing.
