?My Dream Home My dream home is very lovely. It is nestled in the United Kingdom. It is an English style cottage in the country side. It is completely made of gray stone.
All of the stones were carefully hand selected. The roof is the most beautiful thatched roof you've ever seen. Outside are many flowers, flowering bushes, and trees. There is a stream nearby. Beside the stream is a huge, gracefully standing willow tree.
The tree is complete with a small wooden swing. Outside everything is green and lush. There are mountains off in the distance.The shore is also nearby. I can hear birds chirping and the sound of the wind rustling in the trees. The evenings are always beautiful and fragrant.
The gardens contains many different varieties of flowers, all them different colors. I also have an extensive collection of rose bushes. I have several in every color. In the mornings, I go outside and cut a few to bring inside.
I cut enough for the kitchen, my bedroom, and bathroom. The inside is absolutely breathtaking. All of the floors are made of solid wood. There are eautiful, thick wooden beams in the ceiling. They are very dark in color and were made from trees that stood very tall and strong many years ago. All the walls are a pearly white.
It gives the perfect contrast with the dark floors. I have a beautiful floor to ceiling wrap around book case. My collection is extensive. I have all the classics from Moby Dick to Huckleberry Finn. Also, the collections contains maybe books on my personal favorite topics such as: spirituality, self-help, mysticism, various religions and cultures, and sacred texts.Just a few feet away is my beloved fireplace.
It is also made of gray stone. It has a small mantle made of wood, on it are my most treasured family pictures. This is where we gather on cold, wintery night chatting over hot cocoa or a good glass of wine. We have a few pets also. I have a gorgeous Himalaya cat. She has very long white fur and the eyes as blue as the sky.
My friends say she reminds the of the Fancy Feast cat. My little boy is an avid dog lover. We have a Westie and a Yorkie. Most recently we purchased on of the new breeds, the Parkti.
All are house trained and use a doggie door built into my kitchen door to come and go as they please, even the cat uses it. Even the cat is house trained and uses the doogie door to go outside and do her business. We don't have a liter box and the pets are constantly groomed because we like everything to be immaculately clean. As you can see, this is a forever sort of place. A place where you would never want to leave. Everyone is completely content here.
I've been told on more than one occasion that our land and home look like a Thomas Kinkade painting.
