Class 6 Date - 16/07/12 * Type A v/s Type B * Types of values - terminal and instrumental.Reach Value Survey * Personality Job Fit * Personality Organization Fit * Hypotheses Framework for Assessing Cultures * Attitude + Value + Personality = Behavior I learnt about the various types of values and deciphered how to apply it for efficiently identifying a person's match with the organization's culture and ethical standards. I also studied Hypotheses framework and found it either lacking or grossly incorrect in many places. I also learnt about the various factors involved in perception biz. Object, situation and perceiver.Also, I was exposed to dissonance as a term and its various conditions under which it is used like cognitive assonance. Thus, I learnt an all encompassing term which describes inconsistencies very well.

Also, I learnt about Mascots theory in comparison to other similar theories and its limitations which I have never had an opportunity to discuss before. One key learning from HOBO class has been to not take anything at face value and necessarily analyses the topic and form your own opinion about it.
