I have known her only since 8th grade, but when I met her, she instantly became my best friend because we were so alike.We liked the same things, like reading, volleyball and track, and she has always had my back, whether it was taking the blame for having the idea to ride our bikes to the seven eleven at 1:00 am to get slushies, or even taking the blame when I forgot to take the pizza out of the oven at her house, and set off the smoke alarm. I feel like this applies very well to my favorite thing next to NCIS, volleyball.I play volleyball, and disregarding my height of a short 5’6, I’m hopefully going to be the starting outside hitter on our Varsity team this year. Volleyball is a huge part of my life, and I’ve been playing for quite a while. My coach and I have a very good relationship and she is one of the people that I consider a hero in my life.
She had helped me get where I want to be with volleyball, to get to the next level. One of my dreams is to play at some big school with some outstanding volleyball program, but that’s a long shot. “If you can’t win, lose like a champion. said by Gibbs, is also one of my favorite NCIS phrases, and this one applies to another big thing in my life, which is track.
I’ve been running varsity track since my freshman year. Me and my relay team qualified for state this season and went down to Charleston Illinois to compete. There were 28 relay teams competing and we ended up getting 26th place so we didn’t do as well as we wanted to but we defiantly “lost like champions. ” Now, I could say a lot more things about myself, and could entertain you with some more stories, but im running out of NCIS quotes that apply to my speech.
