I am the Producer, a Dominance Style – according to the test results. My behavior is characterized by dominance and independent leadership patterns. The Producer likes to complete independent projects, and does not enjoy other people’s advice or working on their orders. Regardless, he is compelled by the nature of human existence to form relationships. Hence, the Producer is advised to tone down his dominance in relationships when it is clear that the relations demand a kind of equality whereby other people are allowed to share their ideas, and even help the Producer evolve his creative solutions. The Producer is an initiator, a go-getter, and a hard-worker.

Seeing as he does not like to use other people’s help in his unique situations, the only problem with his dominance appears to be that he may overlook the importance of others’ input where it is actually necessary. It may be inferred that the Producer would also stress himself out easily because he takes charge of all his situations. Type A behavior seems to be a real possibility for the Producer. However, by knowing his own behavioral style, he may very well guard himself from stress by working on social organization, that is, by learning to delegate tasks, like a movie producer.

As a matter of fact, a film producer is a very good analogy for the Producer, Dominance Style; and a great way of understanding the relevance of the test to the life of the Producer. The film producer is generally a well-off person who has probably worked harder than the rest to achieve his high status in the film credits. His is a unique position that nobody else can occupy. More importantly, perhaps, it is noteworthy that the film producer has learned to delegate tasks, and nowadays makes films with as many as 100 (or more) people in his film crew.

This is the way for the Producer also to succeed. Indeed, the knowledge about the present test results can help the Producer modify his behavior if and when necessary.
