Judge, T. (2009).In a good and constructive culture, members are suggested to work together in ways that meet the best order for the human needs. In a defensive culture, members tend to act defensively in their work environments, seeking to protect their security. In an aggressive or defensive culture, members usually act forcefully in their working relationships to protect their status or positions Robbins, S.
& Judge, T. (2009). I feel that in my organization we work in a passive culture, we all try to help each other.Organizational behavior In this era of relationships in the organizations and work environment, the word “organization behavior” gives us many insight of great value. This study of human behavior it is an academic discipline devote to understanding of individual and group behavior, interpersonal process, and organizational dynamics with the goal of improving performance of the people and their organizations.
In my organization, which is relate to the real estate industry, we have the group behavior in everyday work.We have to work with people from all different backgrounds in order to achieve our goals. The group dynamics and communications skills are applied in order to improve our performance. The scientific foundation has the foundation discipline devote to understanding of individuals and groups in organizations, and the performance implications of organizational processes, systems, and structures.This gave impetus to research of dealing with individual attitudes, group dynamics, and relationships between managers and workers Robbins, S. (2009). The organizational behavior is an interdisciplinary body of knowledge with strong ties to behavioral science, psychology, sociology, and anthropology as well social science such economics and politics. The use of scientific methods in the organizational behavior uses methods to develop and test overviews about behavior in organizations. In the scientific methods often propose models to simplified views of reality that insure major factors and forces underlying the real occurrence.
These models have independent variables, which recognized causes with reliant on variables which refer to effects of practical value and interest Robbins, S. & Judge, T. (2009). The research methods in organization behavior focus on applications that can make a real difference in how organizations and people perform such as variables in task performance, job satisfactions, and organizations effectiveness.
This promotes a win-win situation with employees and employers. The demographic trends in my workforce (Real Estate) has a great diversity because women are working equals to the men, the increment of the Hispanics, African-Americans, and Asians have increased.The most important part to guarantee that the diversity will be fully valued and respected in the sense of multiculturalism is if embraces inclusivity. This term refers to the degree to which the culture respects and values diversity and is open to anyone who can perform a job, regardless of their diversity attributes Robbins, S. & Judge, T. (2009). Communication The term communication refers to the ability to work well with talk with other people.
The communication as a human skill has the ability to work with other people and provide leadership. These efforts of spirit trust, enthusiasm, and involvement in interpersonal relationships.A good communications skills ha a better degree of self-awareness this works to as understanding of feelings of others. In my organization the people with this type of communication skills are able deal successfully with disagreements and conflicts that usually we face as realtors. My organization has a priority in be there for your customers and always keep them inform.
