I have to understand the importance ot the Organizational Behavior (OB) because my goals and the organization's goals are directly dependant on the employees. Success, ediocrity or failure is, in many cases, linked to the level of Organizational Behavior knowledge applied to the pre-selection of the workforce for any type of business. The more we learn about the behavior of the people working for our organization, the more effective we can be as a group vvhere leaders and workers In a symbiotic manner.

Organizational Behavior Model. We can simplify d real world phenomenon with a model that breaks down the levels In the organization. With an 08 Model we can visually appreciate the Inputs, processes and outputs and how they interact with the different levels in the organization. The 0B model consists ot three levels; these are the individual level, the group level and the organizational level, they conform the Independent Variables or the causes.

The Independent variables are all inputs and processes at all levels of the organization, these inputs and processes are an equation in which every variation will alter the outcome. The outcome of those Inputs and processes become Dependant Variables or the response and effect of all those variations, decisions and Inputs. As part of the learning process In the organization operation, using and OB Model can help us use previous outcomes In hose dependent variables to modify Independent variables, their Inputs and processes. In my experience, in the Individual Level my input to my company is my ability to learn quickly, apply knowledge, adapt, critical thinking and fast decision making. osses great attitude and a fair motivation considering the environment and company culture that surrounds me. In the Group Level the communication is fair, sometimes I see there's a broken phone effect ( Ill explain what this means if you need me to).

There's not consistency and company policy Is created, amended or istorted, I think this causes mistrust towards management.Believe the company has a great work force, this Is reflected by being one of the best performing stores In the state not because of management but because of the team work and our group structure. In the Organizational Level, I see the intention is good but the application of policies has been incorrectly enforced. The organizational culture has been overshadowed but the good part is the safety, equipment training, certification and follow up that the human resources maintain up to date working as part of loss Topic # 2: Attitudes and Emotions at Work.A.

Topic Discussion As a manager I'm aware that my customer's perception is what is going to drive them to conduct business with my Hardware Store. The biggest influential part to that perception is my employees' attitude. I'm a customer too, and I can sense positive or negative attitude and willingness or unwillingness to help me when I go to different stores, now, how can I balance positive attitude without the stress of emotional labor?I think I could balance it to a certain point and not with every employee simply because each individual is different. Emotional Dissonance is inevitable in some ases and this is could lead to burnout.

The company mission statement is to provide excellent customer service, keep customers hassle free and satisfaction guaranteed. To obtain this my employees have to understand the importance of maintaining a positive attitude at all times. 2B. Actions to Ensure Job Satisfaction. In order to try to balance the work attitude required to perform well and the emotional labor stress, as a manager I need to implement methods or channels of alleviation of stress, I think one of them is learning new skills, and what better place to learn new skills than a ardware store, this could be very beneficial for my employees because this is going to give them the idea that they can come to work not only to serve customers but to learn about very practical every day do-it-yourself skills, they can come to work and pass on their learned skills to customers and to other fellow employees.

I believe that with the creation of such skill-learning workshops I could benefit store performance and Job satisfaction to my employees. This would fit perfectly for the store budget because I would be using my own employees as mentors of others. Another way to nsure Job satisfaction is to make my employees an important part of the decision making process of our store, this will give them a sense of involvement and feel more important. And I think the last step would be the availability of benefits to my employees including partnering with a local gym or institution and encouraging my employees to attend and obtain counseling if needed and to have more physical active life.

Topic #3: Job/Organization Fit. The first factor to be considered is the candidates' personality. Due to the nature of the Job we need a specific type of personality that is going to be the most effective erforming the Job. The best fit for this Job would be someone preferable Introverted, Sensing, Judging and Thinking.

My advice would be to use The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to determine the personality traits of the candidates. We need emotional stability and conscientiousness and to identify those traits I'm recommending the implementation of a Big Five Model assessment to select the candidates that fall in those two dimensions. The second factor is the values. Assuming our hospital philosophy is to provide the most personalized care to our patients in a family-like environment we need nurses with specific values.First, I would recommend preference to Nexters because they are more confident, self reliant but team oriented and they are more loyal to both self relationships and what we want is to them. The director of Nursing can use the Rokeach Value Survey to determine values classification.

The third factor is to determine if the candidate fits the Job by linking the individual's personality and values to the hospital. We can refer to Holland's personality-Job fit theory to extract what we are looking for in the candidates. The Social type is the desired one because we want someone sociable, friendly, ooperative and understanding. The relation with the conventional type and the investigative type is very important. Topic #4: Personality.

4A. Self- Assessment Results. My Classic Jung Test results were somewhat difficult to interpret but after self analyzing me I have to say that I agree for the most part and I am now more aware of my own personality.I found this very useful because now I can monitor my actions and reactions, control and modify my decision to improve my performance and my own expectations. I was diagnosed with introverted thinking which it is true because I an relate to my adherence to my own internally devised and logic, I consider myself a very rational individual. I have high level of extroverted intuition and I think this is because I tend to associate and create with external stimuli, I'm very visual, I observe and act based on my observations.

I'm in between being an extroverted and an introverted sensor, I think this is because I focus on internal sensations and reliving past moments and I can also live the present to enjoy the world unfiltered in the moment. And lastly had a higher score for introverted felling and the way I relate to his is because I stick to my own feelings and ideas. 4B. Interpretation and Application. Being aware of my tendencies, values and personality traits made me understand my relations with my superiors and coworkers.

I'm a realistic, very persistent, stable also conforming and practical, barely ever say no when asked to do something at work, I like to be on time, I'm confident, and loyal to my workplace despite the fact I disagree with the organizational culture, for the most part I have very good relationships with coworkers and superiors because I think I'm always self onitoring my behavior and I can adjust pretty easily to most of circumstances to perform accordingly.I avoid conflict by deflecting attention or by bringing up a stronger subject, I understand that in order to make my work environment better I must keep good relations with my coworkers and superiors and the way I'm able to do that is by adjusting and understanding their different personalities and knowing how to approach each individual. Knowledge and understanding of human behavior is the most important determinant in my professional and personal relationships.
