When I earned my high school diploma from the Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic school I enrolled at New York University's prestigious Tisch School for the Arts. a. However, in 2005 my time at the institution proved short as I decided that formal training wasn't what I needed to accomplish my goal. b.

And I dropped out of NYU.2. Soon after I started performing as a go-go dancer and got my name Lady Gaga from the song "Radio Ga-Ga" by Queen. 3. During the day I was holding down a day job as a music publisher. a.

This is when I entered into a serious relationship with cocaine. b. I thought I was going to die. c. I never really did it for the high, it was more for the romanticism of Andy Warhol and Mick Jagger and all the artists that I loved. I wanted to be them and live their life, I wanted to understand how they saw things.

By early 2006 I had begun singing with a couple of local glam rock bands. And soon accidentally I came across my first record deal. When a Def Jam executive signed me on the spot after hearing me sing in the hallway. This contract came to nothing. C.
