As you might know, globalization is process to share the interest among two countries or more.

It opens the way of international integration by exchange the product, sharing culture across the globe and more. However, there are many arguments about globalization because some people think about only advantages and some people see only disadvantages of globalization. In fact, globalization has both advantages and disadvantage as mention below.Globalization is provided new opportunity of all countries to bring their products to sell in many parts of the world without border as indicate in the journal of Pros and Cons of globalization that “now there is a worldwide market for companies and consumers to access products from different countries”.

One of the most important points is that globalization also benefit to cultural sharing as well. The journal of Pros and Cons of globalization mentions that “there is cultural intermingling. Each county is learning more about another culture”.As we look at the disadvantages, globalization is making unfair benefit among rich and poor countries as illustrates in the journal of Pros and Cons of globalization that “globalization is not working for the majority of the world. During the most recent period of rapid growth of global trade and investment, 1960 to 1980, inequality worsened both internationally and within countries”.

Moreover, the UN Development program reports that “richest 20% of the world’s population consumes 86% of the world resources, while the poorest 80% consumes just 14%”.Exploitation of labor is considered one of disadvantages. For instance, workers work in high risk condition and poor living standard. The journal of Pros and Cons of globalization also enhances that “safety standard are ignored to product cheap goods”.

All in all, globalization has both advantages and disadvantages as mentioned above. For my opinion, advantage is outweighed than disadvantage because it provides benefits to human especially global economic growth.
