Everyday, life becomes more complicated and dangerous than the previous day. However, at the same time, the medical care for people becomes more advanced, in different fields. As an example of all of that, the story, which was written by David Pescovity, of the French woman, who was one day with her dog and suddenly he attacked her and distorted half of her face. She was taken to Amiens University Hospital and the doctors managed to disinfect the wound, but there was still a big problem facing them, which was that this woman was missing her nose, lips, and chin. The doctors had to do something quickly before her face started to heal itself and until it was impossible to do anything to save her.

Carine Camby said that a normal plastic surgery, as suggested by the French medical ethics panel, would not have been effective in this case; because the 39 years old woman could not do the regular things like speak properly, eat without spiting, so the transplant was crucial (qtd. in Pescovitz). Also, the fact that she cannot live her life normally with half a face between people. If this incident happened in the past, when the human medicine was not that good, this woman would have been dead, but today the doctors were able to save the woman by taking the face of a brain dead girl with similar features like this woman, and her family agreed that girl's face can be taken.

So this woman lived on and became the first case of face transplant. Body donation is when a person dies and some of his tissues are to be used in organ donation or used in medical research (organ donation_ wikipedia). Although, the fact that the human body is sacred, using it for donation after a persons death is vital for others.Body donation is very important to save lives of many patients. Imagine being more useful and helpful to people when they dead more than when they were alive.

According to (Tissue Donation) the donor saves lives of many people even if they do not know them, like a child born with a heart problem or a person who had an accident that made him need a transplant. So they help others in living a better life. Donors are a considered life changers and savers and they are doing it by the noblest way that a person can (Tissue donation). Moreover, according to Charo R. A.

ll the donors have the right and freedom to specify what they want their bodies to be used for donation to another person, or in research. There are two possibilities according to Tissue donation for the bodies to be used in. It is either that the donor has to specify it before their death or if the donor had a rare disease that stops the doctors from putting it in another person. In addition to that, studies in Dyer's article (74) people receive transplants everyday. 92000 people are still waiting and 19 people die everyday due to lack of organs. These statistics state that many people are for organ donation.

Even, the one of the people who were against the face transplant of the French woman, who was Dr. Laurent Lantier, the adviser to the French medical ethics panel, planned on having a face transplant. Organ donation helps decrease moral problems. According to Dyer body donors gives everyone a great lesson in life that life can be brought from death, and out of grief and sorrow happiness and hope can arise. Another advantage of organ donation is that it can be considered as life after death, as a part of the dead person is alive in another person's body.

Moreover, organ donation decreases moral problems. Some funeral homes snatched buried bodies without their families' agreement (Matthew Verrinder). Sometimes according to Matthew Verrinder in some funeral homes the worker make an illegal copy of the organ donor form, so that it would appear that the dead person have donated his bodies. Also people involved in such crimes would take no more than (25) years in prison.

Moreover, Matthew stated that not only do the thieves hurt the families of the dead person they steal from, but they also hurt the receivers of the organ, because it could be infected or damaged. In addition to that, some people according to Organ Donation- Wikipedia turn to using animals' organs (like pigs) to transplant it into humans. Although the fact that this will increase the supply of organs, sometimes it will increase the cases of rejection of the organ and it is considered a violation of the animal's rights. Maybe in the near future people will turn to cloning to create them to take organs from them and then destroy them. Organ Donation- Wikipedia stated that religion and general ethics oppose the idea of creating a clone of a person for the purpose of killing it to take its organs for another person.Islam, Christianity has positive attitudes towards body donation.

One of the common things between both religions is that the idea of saving lives is very important. Another thing is that no one will use their bodies after they die. For example, although it is not allowed in Islam to violate the human body because they are sacred and it is not acceptable to muddle with it. Shariah prohibitions in the cases of emergency and saving humans lives are over ruled (Non Flash Journey_ religion). According to Non-flash Journey_ Religion in the Holy Qur'an chapter 5 vs.

2 "whosoever saves the life of one person it would be as if he saved the life of all man kind. "Also in Christianity helping in saving lives of others are a great gift and a way of following Jesus' example. This is also considered the main idea of all forms of Christianity. Moreover, in Christianity sacrifice is one of the best ways to follow Jesus Christ. According to the Council of African and Afro-Caribbean Churches (UK) "Any Act that can save life, such as body donation, is a great thing and quite acceptable within our faith.

" So, body donation is one of the best ways that people express with it their faith and love to their religion. Finally as a conclusion, body donation is a very noble thing to do, which lasts for a long period of time. Every person should think seriously about body donation because it maybe their last chance of doing a good thing to undo any wrong that they have done in their lifetime. Although body donors do not lose anything, as they are dead and they will not feel anything, it is hard for some people to do it, because most people fear the unknown. Even though, this is right, if everyone hide because of his or her fears nothing in the world will be done.

For example, when a person is killed the medical investigators team conducts an autopsy to know the cause of death. So if it were acceptable to do it to achieve justice, would it not be better to do it for the benefit of a fellow human being. Although neither the donor nor his family will get any money out of body donation, the spiritual benefit is larger and better. It would be beautiful just to think that after a persons death will save the life of a relative or a beautiful child or maybe a total stranger, and be always remembered as a good person and be blessed by many people, without any pain.
