Forster et al. (2010) propose that there is a link between love and a global processing style as well as a link between lust and a global processing style.In the authors’ first study, college students were to imagine that they were walking with a person that they were in love with or a one-night stand. In the authors’ second study, were subliminally primed as opposed to the first study where love and lust were blatantly primed.
Results showed that distance mediated the effects. This article will allow me to show the differences and similarities between love and lust in certain contexts. References Baumeister, R. F.
