Tom Sawyer Chapter Summary

We are introduced to Tom Sawyer and his Aunt Polly. We also learn that Tom is skipping school and swimming. Then he gets grounded for skipping school.

Tom Sawyer is forced to paint his Aunts fence. Then when other kids walk by he shows them how fun it is and they give him things to let them paint. He ends up with A lot of different items from tons of kids.

Tom tells his aunt that he is done with the fence and his amazed with his work.

He also gets caught taking sugar and he gets in trouble. Then Sid takes some sugar when aunt Polly leaves and breaks the jar and aunt Polly comes and start beating tom. The Tom says that Sid did and she is really sorry.
