distributive property
a(b+c)=a(b)+a(c); when multiplying term outside parenthesis to terms inside parenthesis
additive identity
b+0=b; when adding 0 to a number the number stays the same
multiplicative identity
c*1=c; when multiplying 1 to a number the number stays the same
fact family
A group of 3 numbers that are related by addition and subtraction or multiplication and division.

A statement that 2 quantities are equal.

The product of mulitplying a number by itself.
