Water
A large body of water on teh surface of the earth.
Ocean
A process in which liquid water turns into water vapor (a gas).
Evaporation
In transpiration, water from these objects evaporates into the atmosphere (the air).
Plants
A fluffy-looking object in the sky that contains tiny water droplets or ice particles.
Cloud
This type of precipitation is water that falls form the clouds in a liquid state.
Rain
This type of precipitation is water that falls from the clouds in a fluffy, frozen state.
Snow
A lager, slow moving river of ice.
Glacier
A large, flowing body of water that usually empties into a sea or ocean.
River
The process in which water circulates from the oceans to the clouds to the land to the rivers, and then accumulates back into the oceans.
Water Cycle
The process in which water vapor collects in the atmosphere as it cools and begins to form clouds.
Condensation
The process by which fallen precipitation makes its ways back into the water sources on land (rivers, lakes, oceans, underground streams, etc)
