This I believe... Just like every kid out there, I was no different in the sense that I did not know what I wanted to be.
I saw many adults with many different types of Jobs, but none that really stood out to me. I knew that I wanted to be able to change the world around me, be able to help humanity, but I did not know how. When I became a little bit older though, I was able to let my imagination go anywhere by inventing things using toys such as Erector sets, Knox, and Lincoln Logs.It was amazing that I could just do anything, create anything.
My family and the people around me said that I should become an engineer because of my imagination and love of creating things. They always said that, but I did not know what an engineer even was. This was about the time smartness became popular, specifically the Phone. It was amazing how many different kinds of inventions this phone had inside of it. Apple created something that would help humanity.
Instead of having to own a phone, a Gamey, calculator, and pretty much any other thing you can think of... You can Just own a smartened and have it all in one small device. I was starting to see that technology was the way of the future, but how could I connect my soon love of technology with my confused overlook on engineering.
It seems so obvious now, but then I had no clue about what to do. At the end of 7th grade though, I would own my fist phone, not smartened, but Just phone. I was pretty happy despite it did not work properly half of the time I had owned it.After the contract was up two years later, I obtained my first smartened.
The Sprint ETC Eve Shift G and after seeing this I realized the true potential of tech. It was amazing how much I could do with it, I absolutely loved that phone...
' am getting carried away here, but the point is after another two years, I also hated that phone because it lagged really badly, but nothing could be as bad as the LAG Rumor (My first phone). It was around the time that Google released their new operating system, which happened to be Android 4. Ice Cream Sandwich), on their flagship phone the Galaxy Nexus (Which came out on Sprint with LET). I owned it, I loved it, I still own it, and I still love it. I now am learning to create Android APS with it and my Nexus 10 that I got for Christmas.
I know that my story went by very fast, but I have a limit of 500 words so here is the point. Most young kids will not know what to do with their lives, but one day they...
You will know, and when that day comes, you will be happy with whatever decision you make.
