World war I has been described as an "unnecessary war. " Why? Do you agree? World War One was a tragic and unnecessary conflict as the trigger that triggered the conflict was limited, yet it started a massive global war. This war was deemed unnecessary because the triple alliance and the triple entente were not really fighting for anything. Almost a century has passed since World War one and yet still some famous historians are wondering If the war could've been prevented.
The first World war is called unnecessary because of events that triggered the global war was limited. The conflict grew basically from Austria-Hungary and Garbles disagreement over the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. The Status-Hungarian government thought that the Serbian government was the reason of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and therefore they become Involved In the investigation and judicial process within Serbia.Russia and Germany were the next Mounties to get involved, not because they despised each other but because of their need to protect Serbia and Austria-Hungary.
World war 1 could've been prevented if Russia and Germany had simply not got involved. The war was unnecessary because of the events that led to its outbreak might have been broken at any point during the five weeks of crisis that preceded the first drop of blood. The consequences of the first blood that was shed ended the lives of ten million human beings. The land that they were trying to fight for, we're not worth their lives and that is what I believe was their worst mistake that both the Triple entente and the Triple alliance. No war ever killed more soldiers than the First World War.
60,000 were dead out of the population of 8 billion. The war that began over 100 years ago was not the "war to end all wars" as many soldiers hoped. But it did signal the beginning of the end of the old world for the better and for worst. World war one was definitely an unnecessary war.
