Online Printers: 1 with online print access for all classrooms. Central Server, file servers and firewall: number of needed devices and their connectivity will be mentioned in design part of this document. Network objectives network is meant to serve the CIT requirements of Cleanlier primary school. Network is always the major assure of a sound CIT infrastructure at any organization.

It must be designed in a way to provide good performance and satisfy the current and future needs of data communication at the school. Security:The network must be intended to frame set of rules and provisions to prevent unauthorized access of the network and to protect it from various wicked attacks. The set of rules and the regulations of the network design are framed by the network administrator. The entire network must be protected with the strong antivirus software and Internet Security Software packages to prevent from the viruses to spoil the network. For the better security of the network, there must be a periodical supervision by teachers, librarians, and administrators to guarantee protection against attacks both internal and external. Reliability: Network reliability or availability is also an important factor in the network design.

Networks should be able to detect faults and somehow repair themselves before end-users face any problem with their communications. The network reliability is the ability of a network to keep up to an acceptable level of performance during network failures by applying various refurbishment techniques, and it is a mitigation or prevention of service outages from network failures by applying preventive techniques. Expandability: is the one of the most important properties in the network design. The scalability is the ability of a network, system or process to handle a growing amount of work in a competent manner or its ability to be engorged to provide somewhere to stay that development A routing protocol is considered scalable with respect to network size The network must be capable of supporting expandability without the need to rebuild the entire network. It can be also referring to the capability of a system to increase its total output under an increased load when resources typically hardware are included. Speed:is a very essential factor in the network design.

Bandwidth in computer networking refers to the data rate supported by a network connection or interface. In networking, bandwidth represents the overall capacity of the connection. The greater the capacity, the more likely that better performance will result. Bandwidth is the amount of data that passes through a network connection over time as measured in bits per second (BSP). The bandwidth is not the only factor that contributes to the perceived speed of a network.A lesser known element of network performance and also plays an important reelections designer Network: The wired network is the network, in hat the devices in the network are connected to the other devices in the same network or outside the network with the use of network cables.

In a small wired network, a single router may be used to connect all the computers. Larger networks often involve multiple routers or switches that connect to each other. The wired networks generally also need some central devices like hub, switch, and router to connect to one or multiple devices, systems or to connect with other networks. Figure 1: wired networks Wireless Network: A wireless network is a computer network that uses a wireless outwork connection such as Wi-If.

N the wireless network the devices communicate over the air to transfer data between different devices and computer systems. It is a communications network that provides connectivity to wireless devices within a limited geographic area. Wireless telecommunications networks are generally implemented and administered using radio communication. This implementation takes place at the physical layer level of the OSI model network structure. Figure 2: wireless networks OSI Reference Modesties is a conceptual model that standardizes the internal unction's of a communication systems by portioning it into abstraction layer. There are seven layers in the model.

Physical Layer: The physical layer is responsible for movements blindfolding bits from one node the next. It provides the hardware means of sending and receiving data on a carrier including defining cables, cards and physical aspects. Cleanlier primary school will use this layer for pro CAT_e cables. The physical layer also specifies interconnect topologies and devices. Let deals with the transmission of So and Is over the physical media in this layer the translation of bits into signals is done. Data Link Layer: The data link layer is responsible for moving frames from one hop (node) to the next.

The data link layer's purpose is to manage the flow of data over the physical media. This layer defines the framing, addressing and check-summing of Ethernet packets. In Cleanlier primary school this layer is used to ensure trusted delivery of data.. The Talking layer is deals with the network transmission protocols like, IEEE 802. Protocols.

It also works with network Layer to translate logical addresses (P) into hardware addresses (MAC) for transmission. MAC stands for Media Access Control. Network Layer: The network layer is responsible for the delivery of individual packets from the source host to the destination host. The network layer is mainly used for the purpose addressing and routing the packets. This layer defines the addressing and routing structure of the Internet.

It is implemented in Cleanlier primary school to choose the best path at the time of transmission of packets between layers. Transport Layer: The transport layer is responsible for the delivery of a message from one process to another. It describes the quality and nature of the data delivery and defines if and owe retransmissions will be used to ensure data delivery. It's implemented in Cleanlier primary school to provide reliable data delivery and to receive information from upper layers and segments it into packets.

It will also provide error detection and correction. Session Layer: The session layer is responsible for dialog control and synchronization.Cleanlier primary school uses session layer to maintain ongoing sessions effectively. Its function is to describe how request and reply packets are paired in a remote procedure call. Management of connection between applications is done on this are.

Session layer starts, co-ordinate, ends the conversation between two hosts. Presentation Layer: The presentation layer is responsible for translation, compression, and encryption. This layer provides independence from differences in data representation by translating from application to network format, and network format to application format. Encryption and compression of data is done on this layer.

This layer is implemented in Cleanlier primary school as well.Application Layer: In Cleanlier primary school, there are different types of users that includes student, staffs and principals. This layer is implemented in Cleanlier primary school to provide effective services for all kinds of users. This layer is the top most layer in OSI Reference Model. The application layer is responsible for providing services to the end user. This layer supports application and end-user processes.

Let provides a set of interfaces for sending and receiving applications to gain access to and use network services, such as: file transfer, message handling and database query processing. Application layer also describes the functionality of identifying communication partners, determining resource availability, and synchronizing communication. When determining resource availability, the application layer must come to a decision whether adequate network or the requested communication exists Network Disarmament's input Hardware Argumentativeness's input Equipments list and Estimated Statecraft's input Conclusion and Recommendationslmplementation of proxy server with support of schools internal firewall will ensure safe internet browsing and educational access for students and staff. We recommend that wireless routers should be placed in the mount of the school so as to cover major parts of the classrooms and other areas here WIFE access to internet is required. Desktop switchblades to be installed in each wing to ensure interconnectivity of local area network among the wings and proper distribution of speed in respective areas.Overall network design will ensure the speedy access and safe browsing of internet.

It will deliver the complete concept of CIT based education at primary school level. Design is proposed keeping in view the future expansions and easier administration of servers and user terminals. Cost has always been a resistant factor in achieving the optimal CIT infrastructure but in his design proposal we have tried our best to make use of low cost but high efficiency equipment that is easier to implement and manage. The report has covered School's overall network requirements.

It has incorporated the need of the staff and students of the school. Major emphasis has been given to the cost of implementation.
