Within today's society, more and more Juveniles are on the rise of committing crimes and doing drugs. Many of today's children are so consumed in technology such as cell phones, social networks, and social media, which many children are seeing as 'acceptable'. Not only are children seeing bad examples from the media, but parent's also set bad examples. It's becoming more and more frequent that parent's are partaking in doing drugs, drinking and setting bad examples all around.Parent's who have children at a young age (which is also becoming more and more common) like sixteen, seventeen and eighteen year olds having babies, contribute to such bad behavior in younger Juveniles.

When parent's are sixteen, seventeen and eighteen years old, the last thing they want to do is take care of a baby. Especially if they have no one such as the baby's father to help take care of the child or to take some of the responsibility. So as the child grows up, the sixteen year old is to consumed on the social networks, cell phones and too worried about what parties are ongoing on, their child is really the one losing out. Not every young mother is irresponsible, but in most cases, when the young mother doesn't have a good support system they in turn don't know how to care for another life, and can unintentionally ruin their Child's life setting bad examples, doing drugs, not being in their Child's life, and not setting good morals in their child. This also happens with parent's who are older, and Just don't care.

Good morals start in the home, while having a baby at a young age doesn't necessarily mean that the baby is "doomed" but even in parent's of GE you need the support system from all family members. The Juvenile wilderness program is for Juveniles who have committed crimes, such as stealing, doing drugs, running away, not going to school, gang related and domestic violence (COOP, 2013). The wilderness programs are geared more towards twelve year olds to seventeen year olds who were predominantly white older males, with violent and non violent offenses (COOP, 2013).Also, there are differences between wilderness programs, and boot camps which some people think are very similar- which in a sense they are, but boot camps are military based run, which induces aggression into Juveniles, while wilderness programs try to instill values and structure into the troubled youths lives (COOP, 2013). The wilderness programs address risk factors by assessing each Juveniles needs, and conducting group therapy, as well as making the Juveniles in the program learn what it's like to be on their own and survive alone.

This is a risk factor because once the Juvenile realizes how hard it is in different physical conditions, they may realize that the way that they act at home can turn into that life for them for real. If the venial gets mad and discouraged it can be a risk for when they get out of the program because all the built up anger will then be brought home and taken out on family members, the community or friends. This can than lead to reoccurring delinquency wanly wall seen teem to anal way nooses, Ana recidivism rates wall ARP.Protective factors that this program provides is these youths and Juveniles will be off the streets, and into a program that could potentially save their future, instead of choosing a path of criminal activates. Other protective factors that come with the elderliness programs are benefits of when the Juvenile gets home and back into the community if the program worked and served its purpose, there will be less violence in the community.

If a Juvenile in this program needs a special program such as extra counseling, or special needs, there are counselors there that can walk and talk them through every problem they may have. The service providers and people that are involved in helping these Juveniles would be counselors, officers, therapists, and different peer advisors. In the wilderness program, the officers will be there to make ere nothing gets out of hand, but also counselors and peer advisors, for the juveniles to talk to while doing their program. These Juveniles will be faced with talking to their peers about their problems and then working in different situations that help these Juveniles overcome their fears, angers, and help them let go of some of their aggression so that when they do get back out into the community, they will know how to deal with confrontation whether it be at home with parent's and siblings, or at school with their peers and teachers.

Any confrontations or problems that go on with the wilderness program would be o assess the problems, whether it be verbal issues between the Juveniles, problems with the Juveniles and authorities, problems with Juveniles refusing to partake in the activities of the day, Juveniles who continually break rules and not listen to the authorities, and others that try to run away, or be disruptive or destructive towards property and other people belongings would then be talked to by authorities, and if bad behavior continues, than they would be taken out of the program and other consequences would then be expected. The wilderness program can be court ordered, or it can be set up through a Juvenile probation officer as a meaner of their probation time if they are a repeat offender. Most Juveniles that go into the wilderness programs will learn valuable lessons about life and the value of life, and the serious consequences of what they were doing before they landed themselves into the wilderness program.Strategy can be used in almost any situation, especially when it involves Juveniles that need the extra help and push into the right direction.

When you have a case that you have to manage the strategies that you have to use are the ones that are right for he individual Juvenile. If the Juvenile has a drug problem, than drug counseling and community work would be the best idea.If the Juvenile has anger issues, and has no respect for their guardians, need counseling and anger management. There are no two cases the same, there might be similar ones but no two are alike. There are different factors that play into each situation, and the strategies used can be endless.
