In the planning and design for ambulatory care facility involves far more depth than one can visualize. Comprehensive measures are necessary to make certain colors balance, furnishings are comfortable, and rooms provide ample enough space for both the patient and medical staff to ambulate within. More significantly, the individual who plans and designs needs to take into account the structure and various services that are offered.
Inside and outside of the structure needed to appeal to patients to help reduce their stress and anxiety.A one level floor plan for the ambulatory care facility was decided upon on the account of working knowledge about a multi-level facility from a patient's perspective. Once as a patient of multi-level ambulatory care facility, one of the elevators would tend to stop working. As result the design must reflect flexibility and expandability as outpatient setting continues to develop and progress. As well address the design to detailed considerations to protect the patient privacy and make the design accessible for the medical staff. (Stavins ; Osan, 2011) A few suggestions how I would conduct a floor plan differently is taking more time to collect and gather more similar one level ambulatory care floor plans for review.Secondly, reserve additional time to plan, strategize, and design precisely what components and elements will be set up in each room.
