I learnt about this possible opening through one of my colleagues over the weekend.
Before starting at CHC on March 28 2009, I had worked with developmentally delayed and mentally challenged children at Junior Blind of America. I also worked with Juvenile Delinquent teenagers at Children Are our Future, and finally I also worked with runaways, physical, emotional and sexually abused teenager at Los Angeles Youth Network. I built my passion in mental health while working with this population of individuals. As you know, DDMI-Adol has been my core unit since March 2009 as a MHW till I acquire my RN license last October.Having worked in that unit for over 2yrs, both as a MHW, Med-Nurse and Charge nurse (sometimes), I can assure you that I have the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe and quality care to our client and to lead other staffs, knowing that our client population in that unit is very dear to your heart.
