By 1973 abortion was legal. There are several ways to extract an unborn human child from the womb. What does life mean to those who have an abortion and those who have not had an abortion? There are several advocates that are pro-live and pro-abortion some are groups, individuals, authority figures, and people in high positions in and out of the legal system.Right now there are laws banning second trimester or more abortions.
Women have the right by law to abort their unborn child in the United States with not repercussions for her or her doctor. A single pregnant woman brought a class action suit challenging Texas law prohibiting abortions except when medically advised with the purpose of saving the mother’s life. Roe was the single mother in this case and Henry Wade was one of the attorneys that argued the case in Texas’s defense.First Roe vs. Wade was argued in the Supreme Court on December 13, 1971 it was reargued in October 11, 1972 and again on January 22, 1973.
It was declared the plaintiff’s ninth and fourteenth amendment rights have been void as vague and over broadly infringing. Now about 4,100 abortions have been and are performed in this country daily. Because of a young mother in Taxes abortion became legal in 1973. A child can be extracted from the human womb in several ways.
