Humanity always has been seeking for bigger and better conditions of lifestyles since the dawn of time.

Since the big screen was invented, movies have revolutionized our lifestyle into a new millennium, Movies defined our view to the world and changed it, we learn new lessons each time we watch a movie. It inspires us and sometimes motivates us. Movies can touch a man’s soul, who of us doesn’t have the movie that literally changes of how we see thing in life, movies open our eyes to a new world and it also teaches us of how we should counter it.Nowadays thanks to technology, watching our favorite movies can be done both ways either by going to the movies with your friends, or watching it alone at home, so the question arise which is better to watch a movie is it through TV or Cinema and why? Watching a movie on your TV using Netflex can be so enjoyable in the comfort of your own house dressed up with soft clothes while watching the movie.

The great thing about watching the movie at home is that you can pause the movie if someone is disturbing you also if you want to grab a snack, go to the bathroom or decided to watch it later then TV is definitely your choice. While the movies in the cinema are not much controlled as the ones that are available on TV. Television is not superior to movie theater In terms of audience the Theater wins since the TV audience might be yourself only or with a couple of your friends while in theater movies you have a large amount of people, which adds to the sound effects and the excitement to the movie, which make it worth the money you are spending. Also in the theater you can enjoy the movies much better with your friend than movies on TV because you have the giant screen in front of you.The general atmosphere in the cinema is what makes it so special and enjoyable than television, because you have the audience who are sharing the same excitement and emotions towards the characters as you do. Many people will probably wait until the movie come out on Netflex and stream them at home or DVR those series and then watch them in blocks.

At that point, with the viewing experience digitized, flattened, squeezed, shrunk, re-shaped, and rescheduled for our convenience, the distinction between whether the story began as a movie or TV show won’t matter anymore. With the recent upsurge in production of 3D movies we tend to prefer it over regular movies because it enhances the illusion of depth perception and excite the actions in the movie that will take you to a life like experience inside the movie. On one hand people prefer watching movies at home because you can sit on your nice relaxing sofa. But in the cinema, you always have someone next to you who is very noisy with eating popcorn, sometimes people might talk or shout which will distract you thus you won't focus on the movie.Actually some people would agree that's the opposite.

When you watch a movie at home, you have your family members that will interrupt you. The telephone might ring, there are always things going on. Where in the Cinema, people are usually pretty quiet and you can just sit and enjoy the movie. Recently with the advanced quality of the TV's, it's a lot better now to watch at home, for example you've got the plasma screen TV that has the best picture quality system with the surround sound.

It's just like being in the movie theater and soon it will be better. However people still tend to go to the movies because usually nowadays the cinemas have higher quality sound. You've got your popcorn, your hot dog. It gives you kind of a sense of excitement .

When you sit down to watch a movie at home there's not a sense of excitement. Beside they've got the beautiful comfortable chair although you still need to fight your cinema neighbor for the chair handle so you can relax your elbow, this fight can make or destroy the movie for you.Climate changes can be a major factor of how you want to watch the movie, for instance if it is raining or if it's snowing, you don't want to go. Whereas at home, now you don't need to go to the DVD store. You can get them via your TV using Netflex. Just press the magic button.

Prices are also an element key. In general TV movies are way cheaper than those on the cinema, and sometimes we tend to find them for free plus you can record them or watch them again. While in the Cinema the prices always range between seven and fifteen dollars and you only watch the movie once. Not to mention that the food prices also differs; it is more expensive to order food inside the cinema than outside , so that adds to thirty dollars to see one movie (if you are not on a date) instead of paying an amount of six dollars or less on Netflix or on Demand or watching it free on TV. So the question is, do you think there will even be cinemas in twenty, thirty years? In the last ten years, small cinemas in the cities have usually closed, and they're moving out of town, people are now heading towards the big multiplexes to watch their movie.

The number of cinemas has reduced in the past ten years, and it will probably continue to do that. We got a home cinema now. And people are buying huge screen TV's in great amount. It's cheap enough to buy now, so probably cinemas will no longer exist in about ten years. In my opinion I’d prefer to go to the movies in the cinema instead of watching it via TV if it is a movie that was inspired by a book like the series of harry potter or the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes mainly because I would like to see how did the director created the movie in his own image and if it sought my expectations of how I imagined it as soon as possible.

So I can’t be patient about it, what I would do is grab the ticket, grab my friends and head to the movies where you are gasping for air to see it. Movies are key elements of how we see life, we act on what we learn, so we better choose how we watch it, so it’s your decision TV or CINEMA, and you better hope you made the best one.
