Then I will be explaining how I think the structure of two organisations helps to control their activities and fulfill their purposes by looking back on my previous information on P3.Aims, Objectives and Purposes;Marks & Spencer; The aim of Marks & Spencer is to work their way up the ranks and make the company a truly international, multi-channel retailer – so it can be accessible to even more customers around the world. Their objectives are to focus in the UK on things like an iPhone app to keep up with the progressing technology and also keeping their trusted image in tact so people will keep coming back to their stores to buy their products in order to get them to their aim of making M&S international.

The purpose of Marks & Spencer’s aims and objectives are that they want to provide their successful goods and services to other people all across the world and to make their business bigger and better.St. Gemma’s Hospice; The aims of the St. Gemma’s Hospice are to promote life and enhance its quality within a welcoming, safe and caring environment and also to promote and influence high quality specialist palliative care locally. Nationally and internationally. St.

Gemma’s objectives are to do things like creating an ethos and environment which is welcoming, inclusive, supportive and respectful of all, also to respect each person’s life and to support their patients. Their purposes for doing these things are to create an ethos environment for helping terminally ill people across the UK.How organisational structures and strategic planning helps businesses achieve their aims and purposes; Marks & Spencer; The way that the Marks & Spencer’s organisational structure helps them to fulfill their aims and purposes is by them putting the best people for the different roles in the right places so then that area(s) of the business will run more efficiently for the business to flow better and to push them towards their planned goals faster than they predicted. The organisational structure also helps their business to control their system and to identify any problems which could affect their progress to achieve their aims and purposes. Their strategic planning also contributes help towards Marks and Spencer achieving their aims and purposes.

How do you think the structure helps the organisations’ control their activities and fulfill their purpose; Marks & Spencer; What I think is that the structure is the backbone of the company and without it they won’t be able to do anything. The structure helps M&S to sort out their organisational structure so that they can manage different areas of their business much more effective and easy with less hassle of doing all the various roles yourself and when they sort their organisational structure out it helps them to control what activities they do and also helps them fulfill their purposes. The structure also helps them to undertake their strategic planning which gives them a boost when trying to market a new product which they think will get them closer to their purposes, it helps them to control their activities by them selecting specific things which will keep them in order and not all over the place which could cause them to have major problems within their business.St. Gemma’s Hospice;I think the structure helps St. Gemma’s by them having an organisational structure which has specific people for their specific roles with the proper expertise so they can complete various jobs that have been set out for them to do, also it helps St.

Gemma’s to do more work so they can get more money to get better medical equipment and medicine to treat their patients which then can get them to fulfill their purposes. The way the structure controls their activities are by doing some strategic planning so that when they go into a bit of trouble they have something which could get them out of it or even boost them when they might open a new charity store to earn more money to put into the hospice.
