The Salem Witchcraft Trials and The Nuremberg Trials are two alike yet very different trials. The Salem Witchcraft Trials is about the trials of people who were accused to be witches. The Nuremberg Trials is about the trials of the men charge of the Nazi Germany army and the killing of inconcent men, women and children.

The two trials are alike because they both have to do protecting the public and doing good for the public. They are diffrent because Salem Witchcraft Trials Trials is about witches that were nonexistent in reality, but the Nuremberg Trials were about leaders that did affect the death are actual people. These trials are both very inportant in there own reasons. The first trial, The Salem Witchcraft Trials took place during summer of 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts. The trial is about Men and but mostly women stood trial for "witchcraft". People called them witches and believed the devil had given them special evil powers.

Nineteen people were hanged, one person was pressed to death, and as many as thirteen people suffered and some died as a result of the turmoil and mistreatment. The city of Salem was filled with the talk witch madness. Many were afired to be accused of being a witch, so they would acuse someone else in the town to get there eye of them. The second trial, The Nuremberg Trial was held in the city of Nuremberg, Germany, in 1945-46, at the Palace of Justices. The trials were a series of military courts, held by the Allied forces of World War II, defendent for the courts were men in the political, military, and economic leadership of the Nazi Germany. The first and best known of these trials was the Trial of the Major War Criminals before the International Military Tribunal, which was aginst 22 of the most important captured leaders of Nazi Germany.

It was held from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946. The second set of trials of lesser war criminals was conducted under Control Council Law No. 10 at the US Nuremberg Military Tribunals; among them included the Doctors' Trial and the Judges' Trial. The Salem Witchcraft Trials and, The Nuremberg Trials may look like two complete diffrent trials that do not have anything in commen. However, they very much do.The Salem Witchcraft trials had to do with the punishment of people who had done wrong and did evil to others, as well as The Nuremberg Trials, they belived that the defendents had wronged their country, and had harmed others for no reason.

The two trials also both did in result of the excutution of the defendents. Although the two trials do have there simmailtes they also do have their differences. The most major diffrence that I found between the two is that The Salem Witchcraft Trials was about a group of overdramtic girls that accused anyone they disliked of being a witch with evivl magical powers. At the end more then twenty people died, all whom wernt really witches.

On the other hand, The Nuremberg Trial had to do with the the trials of men who were in charge of killing hundreds or thousands of innocent people. The people put on trial on the Nuremberg case were leaders of the Nazi Germany. The trial includeded twenty-two men who were the most of the leaders that were able to be caputred. Another diffrence that I found between the two is the setting and time period,The Salem Witchcraft Trials took place during the late 1600's in presnet day United States.

However the Nuremberg Trial took place during mid 1900's in Germany. That has to do with a big influnce on how they delt with those type of situations. The Salem Witchcraft Trials and The Nuremberg Trials are two very unique trials with their own ending. The trials had their own reason to be inportant to the people who had to suffer through it.

However, both trials did leave a footprint in history that will always be remembered Weather it be about the accusion of witches or the accusions of Nazi Germen leaders. Its the fact that incent people had to die in both trials is what makes them inportant and unqiue.
