I. Problem and Its Background Nowadays many college students work part-time. Employment during school days may break or make the career of the students.
Basically working students is defined as an individual who works part-time while attending school. Part- time job is is a form of employment that carries fewer hours per week than a full-time job. Workers are considered to be part time if they commonly work fewer than 30 or 35 hours per week. working part-time have become a sort of trend among students around the world, who want to work while studying.
Other reason why student jobs are popular among students is they help top cope up with the constant increase in tuition fees.The financial burden of education fees are rising. families tend to face financial crisis particularly on managing the budget of the family basing on their family income. considering those facts, students affected by the crisis experienced by their family, students will be necessitated to work while studying; it's either a part-time or a full- time working student.
Students choose to work while studying so that they can earn money to support their study. students are also willing to work part-time for the experience and the chance to enhance their capabilities. Every student has their own aspirations in life, and that is the reason why some students are now working by virtue of aiming those aspirations.Since 1984, the fraction of college students aged 16 to 24 who also work full- or part-time has increased from 49 to 57 percent. Not only are students more likely to work today, but they are more likely to work full-time: the share of students working full-time while going to school full-time has nearly doubled, rising from 5.6 percent in 1985 to 10.

Trade and industry associations may recommend to the Secretary of Labor appropriate educational requirements for different occupations.2 and in article 61 Apprenticeship agreements, including the wage rates of apprentices, shall conform to the rules issued by the Secretary of Labor and Employment. The period of apprenticeship shall not exceed six months.Apprenticeship agreements providing for wage rates below the legal minimum wage, which in no case shall start below 75 percent of the applicable minimum wage, may be entered into only in accordance with apprenticeship programs duly approved by the Secretary of Labor and Employment.
The Department shall develop standard model programs of apprenticeship. (As amended by Section 1, Executive Order No. 111, December 24, 1986)3 this are the laws protecting who ever wish to be a working student.The researcher is familiar with this because employment gives hope to college students who would risk working and studying at the same time. this will help a lot financially and will help students to gain experience. The researcher is planning to be a working student also that is why she is interested in this topic.
This will allow college students to share their skills and enhance their capabilities also this will help managers to know the advantages of hiring working students. This topic is relevant because there are many college student who works and study at the same time.
