There are many heroes among us, in our everyday life whether we know it or not.
Everyone’s a hero in their own way. They could be a hero to others they on what they have accomplished in their past life. People that faces challenges everyday and overcame them, to me, they are heroes as well. They might have inspired another and helped them find away to change their life and to do better in life. Let’s take my mom for an example, she is a true hero.
Mom had been through a lot in her past. She was a single mom with five kids moving to Bloomington from Chicago by herself.Through all of that she grew in to the best mom that anyone could want. She gives her last to me and my brother; she puts her kids before she at all times, like a real women and mother should.
Mother is a very trust worthy woman and I feel comfortable talking to her about anything I have concerns about, she always have the right thing to say. My mom teaches me to be true to myself and to be a leader not a follower and that’s why I love her and she’s a true hero. To me, Malcolm X would have to be a societal hero, because he too was going in the wrong direction in life.Living the New York lifestyle, he was forced in to gambling at a young age, robbery ECT. It landed him in prison and had to serve time.
While in there, he found a higher power in which changed his perspective on life and how to live it. He converted to a Muslim. When he was let out he got back on the streets of Harlem and began to spread the message of Allah to the people. He didn’t get to all but he did catch the ears of many. Malcolm helped change many lives, he took people out of the rough streets and gave them hope.
Malcolm showed strength by being able to control an angry mob with just the raise of a hand.I look up to Malcolm; he is a great leader and had a great story to bad his life was cut short. Tupac Shakur is one of the greatest heroes in the world of hip hop. He spread messages in his music. He let people know what was going on in his life and was not afraid to speak his mind to anyone. He was one of the few people that have many messages that all made since and was so true about the African American life in Los Angeles with brutalities and around the world in every city.
