For years, we operated under the belief that we could continue consuming our planet’s natural resources, without any consequence. We were wrong… Mankind survived the last ice age. We’re certainly capable of surviving another one. All depends on whether or not we’re able to learn from our mistakes…‘The Day After Tomorrow’ is a movie about the earth’s possible future on bad human habits that results to natural defects, most especially the so-called “Global Warming”.
It shows what will happen to our world in the continuity of these bad habits. It tells us that if humans continue to act like these it will contribute to a bad effect, a natural disaster. After the incident on Antarctica, where the Larsen B Ice Shelf broke to half while being studied by 3 men, a climatologist (Jack Hall) of NASA started to observe the disorientations that happened. He made a model, a model that just changed everything.
Based in that model, the constant climate change will conduct to the melting of ice caps. But the heat on those cold regions were trapped and blocked from reaching other states, resulting to another ice age in the history of human kind. He’s not sure when it will occur though he predicted that this will happen after 100 or 1000 years. One thing is sure, it’s gonna mess on everybody’s future: ourselves, the children, grandchildren, friends, all our loved ones and they got to be ready anytime. But in a matter of days, a new problem occurred. The phenomenon, that they did not expected to happen that early, just swiped off the earth like a huge galactic hurricane dusted around the planet.
Different catastrophes and calamities started to transpire on many different nations like Japan, where ball-liked ice frost rained across Chiyoda District on Tokyo, L.A. which suffered from twisters, also New York, which was a course of a huge, as in huge, storm that’s going to put the city to a temperature drop of -150°. The sudden change of the weather will sure froze anyone to death.Though the government did all they can do, many people suffered with what happened. Many died, some lacked out of plan, and some were hard headed, disregarding listening to what they should do.
They ended up either frozen dead or twister victim or drowned, maybe just stucked somewhere, never able to have a chance to save their own lives. We can’t be sure that we can prevent the said circumstances, these natural disasters. Being ready all the time is gonna be our best ammunition to the attack of adversity from nature, itself. Nature is not always what we try ourselves to believe it is. There is always a possibility of many suddenly’s.
Sudden storms, sudden quakes, sudden calamities. If you are not that prepared, expect the unexpected. For years, we operated under the belief that we could continue consuming our planet’s natural resources, without any consequence. We were wrong… Mankind survived the last ice age. We’re certainly capable of surviving another one. All depends on whether or not we’re able to learn from our mistakes…
