Nowadays, or many students are being absent to their class because of some reliable and unreliable reasons, because of that they may have disruption to their behavior, academics and even to the other students. Students who develop a pattern of tardiness, laziness and has disrupted discipline that will push them to be absent to their classes must be referred to the Teacher-in –Charge or to the principal for them to develop and to teach the student the appropriate discipline procedures and for them to guide the student in terms of their behavior and to take away the tardiness and laziness to go to school upon them.This study aims to determine the implication of absenteeism to students’ academic performance of the Third year students of Mil-an National High School.
Here are the questions that we are going to try answer: 1. ) What are the effects of absenteeism to the junior students of Mil-an National High Scholl? 2. ) What are the reasons why the third year students (juniors) of Mil-an National High School are being absent? 3. ) What is the impact of “barkadas” for them to be absent? 4. ) What are the suggestions or solutions that we can recommend?The Importance of the study is to determine the main reasons why the students are being absent to their class.
The one who will who benefited in the study are the students and the teachers. The students are benefited here because their teachers will be able to understand the reasons why are they absent from their classes. Teachers are benefited here too because they will understand the students and will not misjudge the students. We hope that this study will help some of the students and teachers to understand the different situations.
