The name Starbucks coffee is known by people throughout the whole world today.
Starbucks is one of the famous coffee brands and shop it also is the best coffee making. Starbucks have shown many changes throughout years, we can see the change in their coffee making. Today Starbucks has created many different type of coffee not the same as years ago. It has shown us many differences in their coffee making business.Starbucks started business as a Private Company in 1971 with only three persons an English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegel and writer Gordon Bowker as the worker and the owner of the first store called Starbucks coffee, Tea and Spice.
The shop sells fresh-roasted, gourmet coffee beans and brewing and roasting accessories. They start their business in Seattle which they had invested $6,350 in the store. They believed that they can build a client centre base in the area and that was a very luck step for them when their store are becoming more popular.After the success with their first store they decided to open a second store. In 1982 Starbucks had owned to five branches of Starbucks store that servings coffee to restaurants and espresso bars.
As for their success, Harold Schultz was employed as the director of retail operations and marketing. After Harold became the director of retail operation and marketing he suggested to the founder of the Starbucks coffee that they opened a downtown Seattle Coffee Bars.The founders agree with his suggestion and finally opened the Downtown Coffee Bars in 1984. The Downtown Coffee Bars was a success in business and after the success of this shop they begin starting their own company in 1987 named Il Giornale and changed its name to Starbucks Cooperation, After that they opened their location in Chicago and Vancouver. In 1992 the Company went to public because of the initial public offering, since then Starbucks started to grow at unusual rate that the first time in history of coffee world.
In 1997 Starbucks had expended throughout The United State and also in Japan and Singapore. We can see from the short explanation about the history of the Starbucks there are huge differences between today Starbucks and the older Starbucks. The old Starbucks only have only a few stores. The store only sells one type of coffee and some accessories but today we can see that Starbucks not just only sell one type of coffee but it had develop new choice of coffee and new taste that will amazed people.
We can see that Starbucks started its business with a hard time, they only had a few workers and the founder also had to work by themselves to make sure their business running perfectly. Not like today, Starbucks had achieved its goal and not enough they had become the world’s number one coffee brands and store. They also had opened many branches all over the world and had thousand of workers that working daily to make sure the glory of their empire will not fade.Today even though the founders of the Starbucks is the legacy of already pass away but the legacy of the Starbucks is still goes on. Although there are many differences between today Starbucks with the older Starbucks, but they still have a little similarities.
The similarities are the way they making their coffee is still the same. They make their coffee with a high quality of coffee beans. They only choose the most qualities beans that had been grown in a very cold temperature. They roasted the beans with such a high temperature and make sure that the beans are fully roasted.Besides the ways making coffee, the ways they serve their coffee are still the same. Even though they had created many type of coffee but they still use the older ways to serve their coffee with the same blend of coffee beans.
The others similarities are the colour of their logo is still the same green. Recently we heard that Starbucks had changed their logo on the cup, they get rid of the picture on the cup and only use the green symbol but it still green in colour. Today Starbucks had its name cover almost the entire world.Although it’s had going through many changes over the years and had been many differences in their business but they still can maintain their taste in coffee making. They still can make coffee that had the same taste like their first coffee.
The different type of coffee in Starbucks is making people more and more eager to like the coffee more. Many people hope that Starbucks coffee will continue its legacy for tomorrow generation to experience the great taste of coffee making in the world.
