Solidarity is one of the most important values of humanity also one basic principles of the Christian view related with the social and political organization in the community.

Solidarity with other values such as authority, subsidiarity and personality are part of the principles of social philosophy, which allows a harmony in the environment, allowing that all things work properly. The term itself was first introduced by Pierre Leroux (1797-1871) when he was trying to replace the appellation "Christian charity" for human solidarity, being a concept that is quite close to the term philanthropy. For theology, is closely linked to the harmony of all men, which leads them to seek the good of all people and societies around the world. Continuing the Catholic perception, they cannot conceive large differences between human beings wherefore everyone are morally forcing to the practice of social cohesion, Building a Global Society of Peace and Creative Coexistence. It means, therefore that humans must mutual service. We can understand solidarity as a synonym for equality, fraternity and mutual help.

As an example, one of the ways to practice this transcendental value can be found in volunteer groups how popular are around the world.Groups such as those promoted by different NGOs (non-governmental organization) that are based on support for fragile communities in need of help and do not have enough resources. In the other hand, a Volunteer also benefits themselves, because they can get the satisfaction of playing a very important role in someone else’s life, additionally that kind of experiences contributes to personal development relative to self-fulfillment, self-confidence, and self-esteem as well as building important social skills. In my personal experience I have never been a volunteer, or something similar, but it’s something I'd like to do some day soon. If all humans would stop for a moment their daily work, not just for think, but to make the different, something for our own environment including people with special needs, things would be different. However, I Think the world we live is still too far from the meaning of community, people including me, are selfish, money hungry, heartless and that’s why social and political power, became more important than people.

We have forgotten some values; that has triggered the social imbalance that we are living. So, volunteering is a way of giving back to our planet. Looking for some info, I found this phrase which could be significant in this topic: “Not only does it bring hope and happiness to people, but it also leads to spiritual and personal growth. It is an experience that cannot be bought with any amount of money. ” So if the question was about if i agree with volunteerism have to say yes I am.
