I would like to develop a career in information technology, perhaps as a developer or programmer. I have chosen a profession in this industry because computer technology interests me and I see that it is an area that would always be changing and where there would be potential to do a lot of good for humankind. In our modern world, computer technology goes far beyond applications for games and email. Computer technology can help to diagnose diseases and find cures for deadly illnesses. It can be used for advancements in education, sports and culture.
Technology also helps to unite the world by allowing people from far reaches of the globe communicate and share information about current events and global trends. We are able to share cultural, scientific and technological developments with people on the other side of earth thanks to information technologies and computers – this was not possible a few decades ago. The progress will continue and having the skills to take part in this rapidly advancing industry would be very exciting. In choosing a career in information technology, I want to help to develop applications that can make a difference in the lives of people.I want to explore the options that technology can offer and use them to do something positive.
There is real potential to do good things through the development of technology. By developing my skills in the area of computer technology, I would be applying my interests in an area that has potential for growth and change. Each day, new developments take place in the world of IT and this means that there are new adventures that those involved can take part in. I think this would be the best job for me.
