I always wanted to become a dentist as I am fascinated and passionate about caring for the teeth and oral hygiene. I also see myself involved in missionary for people in my community and for those in far places who are most in need of attention, care, and help. Most of us value our teeth. The importance of this body part and my passion for children made me decide to take up Biology, which will lead to dentistry.

I want to help kids realize the importance of teeth in their lives, the same way I want to see both kids’ and adults’ flash healthy smiles.I am aware that the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will be my channel towards this aspiration, as it is committed to preparing determined students like me for our professional lives and fulfillment of our missions and goals. I know LAS will equip me with the necessary knowledge, skills, and training I need in my chosen field. After graduating with a degree in the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, which will enable me to provide utmost service to children and adults through caring and improving their teeth as well as their lifestyles, I plan to provide the society with lasting and truthful service through missionary work.

I value my spirituality and my faith as much as I value voluntary services for people who need it. I recognize the importance of missionary work especially today when most people lack the faith necessary to be happy and fulfilled. In my future missionary work, I wish not only to promote my own faith but also to assist the needy so they can access basic services entitled to them for their economic development, education, and health. My background in biology and dentistry will help me as I join other missionaries and volunteers in medical and dental missions. Moreover, I treasure, enjoy, and am fascinated about life in general, this is why I chose to major in Biology, and I want children and the less-fortunate to view and appreciate life the way I do.

I know my aspirations are appropriate and wise whenever their images appear before me. I strongly believe that the LAS and the whole University will be with me as I realize these aspirations not only for myself but also for the people I choose to serve.
