(1) I recognized that in choosing this degree, there are relative implications present within the medical profession. I feel that inequality remains to be persistent among classes in treatment. Currently, the rich has access to better healthcare than the poor. I feel the need for this to be revitalized and improved.(2) I feel that I have the qualifications to actively do this.
I had immersed myself to various volunteering endeavors so as to both understand and serve people who have little or inadequate benefits. In addition, I envision myself to be a medical practitioner who will cater to their individual needs.(3) I feel that Penn State University can best cater these endeavors because it caters to the diverse populace in the country. By enabling us to be culturally competent, I can effectively foster equal treatment and change. Also, the University can engage us to create the skills in this changing world.
