Terrorism that occurs as both domestic and non-domestic has been center of interest across the world following the various terrorist attacks that have affected various countries and the contemporary world at large. As a critical event, the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 led to various policies and antiterrorism measures to capture possible future influences and effects to the global community. However, this case was aimed at achieving some political intentions and benefits. It was aimed a coercing and intimidating the American government from its global perception as a super power. Evidence can be attributed to the close linkage that Alfred Murrah and Timothy McVeigh who are the suspects behind this perpetration had with the al Qaeda terrorists group. The intention of this attack was therefore to intimidate the superiority held by the American government as been the super power in the world (Jeffrey, 2004)To avoid any future possibility of such domestic terrorist attacks, various legislations, anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism methods have been used to protect the public and their buildings from such consequences.

These methods include both military and non-military methods of terrorism prevention. Non-military methods are those that are aimed at addressing the underlying inequalities that may cause terrorism. Military interventions refer to the use of various methods by military actions that will prevent terrorism (Bruce, 2006)Generally, both methods have been of great impact in curbing terrorism. Their preventive devices, laws, techniques and legislations are basically highly influential in securing a better America with less chances of terrorism.

At my personal level, been in charge of terrorism would bridge the problem by enacting more legislative provisions that would prevent the problem in a more detailed manner. This could also be done hand in hand with strong military activity that acts as an arresting tool for the problem.
