My strongest trait and one that makes me special to others is my friendliness. I consider this as my strongest trait because it allows me to make friends easily and to have a big circle of people who share with me my joys and are willing to help me with the problems and challenges of my life. I consider myself as friendly because I am accommodating and approachable to people. In gatherings for example, I always make it a point to approach people who seem to be uncomfortable with the group or those who come alone.I believe it is my responsibility to make them feel a part of the group. I consider myself friendly because I always have the willingness to help others.
When a classmate has difficulty understanding a lesson that I am quite familiar and interested with for example, I offer my assistance to such classmate so both of us can learn more. I consider myself friendly because I always make myself available to people who go through difficult times in their lives. I send notes and cards to the sick and call those who undergo emotional struggles. For me, friendliness is not just being approachable and agreeable; friendliness is one trait that others should see entails more responsibility in relationships. As such, I am friendly because I give advices to people who need them and reprimand those who stray away from good morals deeds. I do not believe that friendliness is a trait one can inherit from his parents.
However, I grew up knowing parents who are well loved by their peers and colleagues and if having friendly parents entitles one to inherit this wonderful trait, then, I am fortunate enough to have inherited this trait from my parents.
