Weyerman Paper Company has been sponsoring events and social gathering for its employees and their family members. This time around we will be holding an Intramurals which is geared towards promoting work and life balance, camaraderie and employee engagement and relationship. This event will hold series of games which is open to all company employees.
In line with this, we have received suggestions and recommendations to include family and friends on the sports teams that were already finalized to compete and participate on the games opened to all company employees.We have carefully studied and deliberated on this request. However, we regret to inform everybody that the games will only be opened to company employees. The games are only limited to company employees as we would want to maximize employee interaction during this event.
Please understand that including family and friends on some of the teams would mean a lot of work in organizing the team rosters and game schedules. We do understand that most of you value your time with family and friend.That is why we are encouraging everybody to bring along their family and friends to grace and witness this event and share the socialization activities but not the team- and camaraderie-building activities . There are also other activities lined up on the company’s calendar of activities which would entail the participation of family and friends. We will be sponsoring “Family Holiday Parties” and an “Annual Company Picnic” where you can have your family and friends joining on the activities of the said events.
