This paper explains the responsibility of organization in industrial security and the causes and effects of industrial loss. Government businesses that deal with the government and businesses of a large nature must deal in security above and beyond the normal security. This type of security that is needed is called Industrial Security. These organizations deal in very secretive and sensitive matters on the home front and internationally.

In this paper we will deal with the various responsibilities organizations in industrial security must address; and identify the causes and effects of industrial loss.The responsibility of organizations within industrial security is very refine and exact because of the high sensitivity of the technical and secretive matters in their job. The chief, administrative Security division shall administer, manage, and provide oversight for the industrial security program, authority of the Chief Security Officer/Senior Agency Official.• Contracting Officers shall ensure that all solicitations and contracts under their oversight comply with the policies and procedures identified in this directive, in addition to the requirements of the federal acquisition regulation regarding safeguarding classified information.

Protecting confidential information is a business requirement in government and businesses that deal with the government.

We must remember that all types of security is in existence but all are prepared to take care of the technological, or sensitive, or economic classified information that exist in our nation.
