If needed you can take extra courses to refresh your skills or to gain new ones such as communication skills. By using the skills and training that you have gained you will qualify to be a competent worker and you will be promoting and ensuring good practice. To do this you should follow codes of practice, policies and procedures. You should encourage other colleagues and work as part of a team and use your own initiative as an individual.
