Hitler's character was very strong and very charismatic, he looked very confident of himself and by the way he spoke the people (his oratory) made people believe him and change their mind. With any doubt he was an expert in propaganda and he knew exactly how to act to look as a strong leader. Hitler knew that the propaganda was the key to his rise in power and he emphasized extremely this point. He had Dr.
Goebells (an outstanding propagandistic) in charge of the Ministry of Propaganda.His belief was; "Propaganda must not investigate the truth objectively ut must present only that aspect of truth which is favourable to the party" and he would do anything to have the best image of him (and his party) that he could build. He took his own image so strongly that he would be photographed kissing babies to show his kindness, been at the front-page of newspapers constantly and he would censurate by the Ministry of Propaganda those photographs that he thought were prejudicial to its own image, such wearing glasses, which from his point of view showed weakness.He would always been shown standing up straight and looking confident and strong to make look him as strong leader. His strongest and deep beliefs, without doubt helped him to express his extreme ideas very clearly, such that he hated Jews and that Aryans were the master race as thought in the antique Viking religion. As he said once "I hate the agglomeration of races in the imperial city".
He had natural talent and charisma, when he discovered his skills he perfectly knew that he would work in politics.He even, learned how to improve his brilliant oratory skills in speeches; in addition, during a period of time in Berlin, a dramatic art teacher gave him lessons to talk in public. Hitler cleverly organised and knew exactly how the vents would happen so he could take a step of advantage from his oppositories; he got to every part of the country to advertise as much a possible. He also was cold and calculator, it was needed to goal his aims and be the unique leader of such huge nation, were he could be compared as a god.
This shows his immense leadership, he desired so much the power and was so exigent that he even made his opponents approve the Enabling Law which convert him in a dictator with full powers; this could not be possibly done without his outstanding leadership. However, his best weapon were his awesome skills in communication hich brainwashed many people's beliefs. His speeches were the path that would lead him to the rise in power, it squeezed all his character and transmitted to the Germans.In the speeches, he become very dramatic, after a minute of silence, letting the build up of suspense in the crowd, he would suddenly scream shake his arms and change his facial expression (he was a great actor) which helped him look so dramatic and convincing, the crowd always broke in chaos as shown in many videos.
By this build up tension, such without talking for a minute, letting building up the suspense and after deliberately iberate it in anger, anger that transported in his words, such the anger felt by the Germans by the problems such depression, Treaty of Versailles etc.. his made Germans feel identified with him, so he was shown as an alternative to solve their problems.He exaggerated the facts and blame all the fault to oppositories, for example, he severely blamed the communists by the Munich Putsch which made communist popularity fall down. The key why Hitler get so many people to support him, and in consequence gain power, was that in combition with his communicative and convincing character was the promises he made.
He always emphasized on himself (making him important) and promise he would build the largest nation in the world.He said he would bring the economy back, but also things such they would free the future of the world by eliminating non-pure races. He promised that they, (the master race) had the task of governing the whole world, he estimated that that government would last for thousand of years. Germans in such a situation would only have eyes to Hitler, and gradually would turn into their feelings, such anti-Semitism (they were brainwashed). And thanks the communication mediums which onstantly that described Hitler of such a hero, it got recorded on German minds, and so, believe it.
Hitler become in a figure to appeal, in other words, the propaganda and brainwashing, millions of Germans converted into puppies in service of the Furher, and that was what he needed to rise power. In the other hand, we have to say that without the other factors that contributed such the desperate situation, by the poverty in the economic depression, anger produced by Treaty of Versailles etc.. , Hitler would never rise to power even with his oratory, personality and leadership.
