The population of the earth is about 7 billion people but they are not spread around the world evenly this is called Uneven Population Distribution In this essay I will be explaining uneven population distribution using 5 different places as an example and giving reasons why they are not densely populated. In some parts of Algeria (like the Sahara Desert) there is not a lot of rain so the crops can’t grow and there wouldn’t be enough resources for everyone. It is too hot so people wouldn’t want to live there because it is an uncomfortable climate to live in for some people that are used to living in cold areas.

In some parts of Canada it is very cold and dry, if it is dry plants can’t grow and if plants can’t grow then farmers won’t have a job. It is too cold so people wouldn’t want to live there because it is an uncomfortable climate to live in for some people that are used to living in hot, tropical areas. In China it is crowded in some areas because people want the proper amount of supplies they need. The higher you go the colder it becomes some people would not live there because it is too cold so it would be uncomfortable for them and it might be steep so some people would think it’s too dangerous and not go up there.

In Russia it is too wet this is bad thing because if the road is too wet then somebody’s car might slide and tip over (if driving too fast) and they die which cause deaths to innocent people. Russia’s death rate is higher than the birth rate (the death rate is 15 deaths per 1000 people per year). It is too cold so people wouldn’t want to live there because it is an uncomfortable climate to live in for some people that are used to living in hot climates. In Brazil there is a lot of ain so this causes a lot of mosquitoes, some of the mosquitoes may cause a disease named Dengue fever (if bitten), and this may cause people not to go there because it is too dangerous unless you’re willing to risk your life. It is humid so it’s easier to farm this is a good thing because it provides jobs for people. In my essay I show 5 places that aren’t densely populated and that the world has a uneven distribution because we are picky about where we want to live.
