Do You Agree That, Immigrants Should Try to Become Part of the Culture in Their New Home, and Not Hold Onto the Traditions of Their Home CultureI neither agree nor disagree with the following statement: “Immigrants should try to become part of the culture in their new home, and not hold onto the traditions of their home culture”. I believe that immigrants should try to adapt for their new culture at their new home because if they did not adapt to the rules of the country, they will not be welcome by the native people. For the traditions, you should not leave the entirely because it defines who you are and it shows that you are part of some family.
At first, I am going to explain about the adaption for new culture. Yes, immigrants should adapt their new culture but still hold onto their traditions. If they didn’t adapt, it will hard for them to blend in with others, but we should not leave all the traditions that we have, just keep the important one that fit in. For example, people from around the world if they want to live in USA, they must speak English or they’ll just confused the citizen and cant blend in.
Another example, Arabian that usually dressed from head to toe covered, when they go to western country, and they dressed like that, peoples are going to feel odd and keep the distance. They should adapt custom by wearing clothes like the citizen but still not revealed too much skin. In conclusion, as immigrants they should try to become part of the culture in their new home and still believe in their traditions to knowing who they are, not leaving it behind or even bring the traditions to the new home as people there doesn’t like it.
