The first decision that we have made, the first one we really had to make, is to set each team members’ roles in the presentation as according to the team roles set. We started to assess each other’s characteristics, both positive and negative. We made sure that each trait is taken into consideration as our individual traits actually tells a lot on how we would go about and deal not only with the other members of the team but also with certain issues and problems or other presentations which will be assigned to us.

This helped us determine which member of the team will make the decisions, who will implement each decision made and who will serve to check and balance everything. Thamer’s role is to be the Plant since he is the one who usually have all the wonderful ideas. He may seem to speak less but he does always have something creative to say whenever he speaks up. He is straight to the point, avoiding the details but provides more time for brainstorming. We decided that Brigges needs to be the Resource Investigator.

He does have lots of energy to begin with. He speaks his mind and he seems to have complete touch with a lot of other resources which could help the team in research and methods. Though sometimes, he tend to lose interest when the team jumps from one topic to another. Mike, we deemed, could act as the group’s Co-ordinator. He was good in facilitating when we held our meetings. He knows how to deal with the members and how to set jobs for each of us.

He always wanted the group to make the most out of the resources that we have.Emad is the Shaper of the team. He is opinionated. Whenever Thamer presents new ideas, he always challenged the position of the idea.

He is open for changes and makes sure that everybody is as well. He may seem to always have something to say about everything but Foziah always made sure that he ios kept in check. Foziah is the team’s Monitor Evaluator. She always keeps the team focused and always maintains that the team is progressing despite the different personalities. He also takes part in strategizing for the next plan of action, etc.

She is also open to suggestions and always makes sure that all aspects are taken into consideration before a decision is made. Ahmed mediates everything else. He is the team’s Team Worker. He ensures the fairness in opportunity to speak up and share ideas.

He makes sure that the team’s time is worthwhile by making sure everyone participates in every discussion. Staphane is the group’s Implementer. Judging from the word itself, she checks and always makes it a point that all rules and plans of action are always realized.She tends to stick too much to the plan but somehow, that is a good thing.

She always has Hoda to check on her task. Hoda is our Completer/ Finisher. He ties up lose ends, making sure everything is polished. He seems to always look anxious. That is because he is the one assigned to make the last modifications, and adjustments; but always with the approval of the whole team.

All of us have valuable roles and each will always depend on each other’s functions to come up with the best output.
