Democracy refers to a form of government where individuals within it practice transparency and equal distribution of the available resources in the country. Democratic political model best serves the environment. It has started new terminologies that refer to the environment.

Democratic government allows people from all aspects such as educationists, lawyer’s students, government individuals and even industrial workers the right to environmental information and decision making regarding the environment.When citizens are allowed to have a democratic environment they are capable of solving some issues regarding them amicably at the national and local levels. Environmental democracy has led some governments to introduce the Right- to- know programme. This allows the citizens to access data on various activities and even chemicals released to the environment by various industries.
It gives a good opportunity to the citizens to know the quality of their environment and make good decisions when assessing the data given.Access of the data is not satisfactory as it doesn’t state clearly what impact the release of various compounds on to the environment has. A democratic environment allows its citizens to know what is in the air they breathe, the waters they take and the land they live on as well as the consumers who have a right know what is contained in the food and medicine they consume. This makes the citizens to utilize the data provided in the programmes and come up with reasonable results that can be used to solve the problems encountered in the release of various gases to the air and land they live on.Democracy best suits the environment because it allows the people themselves to know About the environment and how they should relate with it.
This makes the people to improve it in order to ensure their survival. Democracy is the best but it can be so dangerous on the other side since everyone has a right to manipulate the environment as he/she desires. Eventually it has resulted in some government’s failure to stop some effects on the environment such as gas production released to the environment by manufacturing companies, resulting in climatic changes such as global warming (Lansford, 2007).Capitalism and democracy are two inseparable things but capitalism plays a major role in protecting our communities.
