Now a days, the rate of teenagers been harmed or got into trouble is increasing rapidly for they are having not much of a trouble to get out of their house at night. Maybe we can also put it in a way that the parents of the present society are getting weaker as time goes in controlling the actions of their children. A solution has came up to solve this problem, that is curfew.
But a question came along, do curfews keep teens out of trouble? In my opinion, I do think that curfews can reduce the rate of trouble among teenagers. The first reason is that curfew is a way to restrict the behaviour of teens, to let them be aware of their actions and know about what consequences might these actions lead them to. For example, when we have such regulations, teenagers would consider about what might bring upon him and his family when he got caught wondering the streets at night. They might be fine for a certain amount of money and would be put as a record of violating the regulations. Furthermore I belive that putting out this regulation would not only affect teenagers, their parents would also be aware not to let their children out at night, by doing this they would keep an eye on them and might as well spent some quality family time together.
Which might also lower the divorce rate when home feels home.If we look at teenagers being in trouble at a different point of view, we can put it like this: the parents spend less and less time with their children or the parents fights and argues time after time, that might cause teenagers to dislike and run away from their so called home which are cold or annoying. So when parent became aware of this problem, they could start fixing the problem beginning with themselves. Nevertheless some teenagers were born to be rebellious. They would look for troubles and the more you try to control them, the more rebellious they are. In this case, curfews certainly cannot do it job properly.
What we can do is that we can start with education. We will need to educate the parents with examples of deaths and penalties that had be cause by letting kids running wild. And educate children properly to let them know for sure what is good for them and what's not.The government should put regulations on TV shows, adverts, internet, for they cannot promote violence and bad behaviors.
Should also warn and regulate the internet bar keepers, casino owners and bar owners that under 18 should not be allowed in. In conclusion, curfews would be a good way to keep teenagers save, of course this would need support from everyone in the society. With teenagers being save and sound, our society would be more peaceful and in a way, many problems that might come along with kids in trouble could be solved.
