The constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America. However the constitution has 27 amendments, bill of right is the term for the first ten amendments to the United States constitution in 1791.
Also seventeen for subsequent amendments and ten for the unsuccessful amendments. However the 22nd amendment is so important in the United States constitution. The 22nd amendment was passed and ratified in 1947 and 1951 respectively.The amendments came from Hoover constitution of 1947. The purpose of the 22nd amendment was posted to limit the number of the terms that the president could serve. The amendment is to proof that “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of the president, or acting as President, during the term within which the article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term”I mostly agree that the 22nd amendment need to be a law in United States because of many reasons first of all to avoid what happened when Roosevelt was president. Roosevelt Franklin Delano 1882- 1945 32nd president of United States 1933-1945. Roosevelt served for longer time than any president total of four terms. The 22nd amendment to constitution of the United States, passed after his death, denied the right of any person to be elected president more than twice.
However Washington had been asked to run for a third term in 1796.George Washington had wanted to do like Roosevelt but the constitution rejected.The advantage of 22nd amendment is to avoid the president to becoming like king. The second reason is to let the American people decide if they are interesting or agree about this president policy. The so important about the third reason is to give others the chance to do share and help their country by something new.
Also if people feel he did not do something is the solution change.It is therefore noted that the purpose of the 22nd amendment was to limit the number of terms for which a sitting president could serve.
