It is a modern replacement for the cash register in retail applications. It can help to record securely all the sales and customer’s orders, track products which are poor on business’ sales and of course manage inventory.

This particular system can improve the way, the small and mid-sized businesses do their inventory and sale transactions. It will aid some of the common problems facing by business industries, that in this era of modernization, still using a manual process of inventory. Common problems like slow inventory process, lost records, inventory shortages, and high risk of errors can affect the whole business. A manual POS Inventory System can affect the whole business process in terms of sales and confidential document security because a manual process is not reliable enough.

Tomas Lubao, Pampanga because of some common problems encountering by the business that matches the dilemma of a few business industries that are using a hand-operated inventory.Moreover, the system will increase the business’ income and they can be more competitive. It can also accomplish the process of inventory quickly and it will help to secure the confidential and important document, sales and customer’s pending order safely.

Most of all, the business can avoid inventory shortages by which the physical count of inventory is less than the amount recorded on the business’ book. 1. 2 Background of the Locale Crystal Twins Hardware and General Merchandise in Sto.Tomas Lubao, Pampanga was established in the year of 2001, favoring the construction and hardware needs of the people who live near the town for almost a decade.

It was formerly known as Victorio Hardware before it was sold to Mrs. Regina Hipol in 2003. It was first manage by the husband of Mrs. Hipol until the business grew and gain more profit which gave the opportunity to sum up their business’ product. The business name then shifts from “Crystal Twins Hardware” to “Crystal Twins Hardware and General Merchandise”.

As the business is doing better, a hallow block factory is built near the house of the couple which push Mrs.Hipol to manage the hardware store as her husband is managing the “Hallow Blocks Factory” Crystal Twins was named after the youngest daughter of the owner of the business named “Crystal Mae”. The owner has also twin daughters. It was where the name of the business came from. Since, the business was started; it gained popularity not only in the Barangay but also in other places because of its complete hardware and construction products. This was proven by some of their customers, because some of them are from far places.

The business was a simple hardware store before.It does not have any construction materials like gravel and sand. But because of the dedication and determination of the owner the business grew and gained more profit. The business is having two small trucks and two big trucks now which are used in delivering their products like sand and cement. Technology is playing an important role in the business world. This was proven by some businessmen and businesswomen that were being independent in technology.

Technology helps them to make their respective work to become faster and easier. It is one of the important components of a successful business.But still, there is some business that suffering from lower customer service, lost records, and lack or excess in inventory than usual because of the manual inventory process.
